Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks of this water which I will give to him will never be thirsty for eternity, but the water which I will give to him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
~ John 4:13-14, LEB ~
Genuine mindful Christian living that is crucified with Christ is contagious. If one truly enjoys a heartfelt and life-altering relationship with our Heavenly Father; that relationship will have an impact on others – perhaps a profound impact.
The question is this: are you genuinely excited about your faith? Does it cause you to experience enthusiasm and joy? Or are you a silent ambassador for Christ? The preference is clear: Our Heavenly Father desires for us to stand and share our faith and hope that is within us. And it only occurs when Christ reigns over our life. We ought to be willing to share our testimony. We are ought to be actively engaged in ministering to others with love and compassion.
Yet, there are times in our rush to get things done we simply do not pause long enough to show gratitude and thanksgiving for the countless blessings our Heavenly Father has given us. However, when we slow down and express gratitude to Christ and our Heavenly Father, we enrich our own lives and the lives of those around us.

Part of living a mindful crucified Christian life is that we are engaged in true worship. Giving thanksgiving and praise, engaged in ministering to the needs of others, and sharing our faith and testimony in who Christ is. It is the spiritual disciplines of worship and evangelism and missionary work. Because, as much as our Heavenly Father has blessed us – He expects us to turn around and bless the lives of those around us.
Every one of us owes Him everything, including our worship and praise. There is no need to be focused too much on control. Nor is there room to be preoccupied with overemphasis on outcomes. Winning is not everything when it comes to living a mindful crucified Christian life. Through this, we grow in spiritual integrity and character. Our own emphasis changes. We no longer have a need to be right. Instead, we are to be honest with self and others. For there is no high achievers or winners in the Kingdom of God.
And the only conquest required is that which is brought into submission to the will of the Father.
Today’s Thought and Reminder
We grow spiritually when we are drinking from the true well spring of living waters. We grow personally, in our relationships and fellowships with others, and begin living true to the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The outcome is becoming true worshippers of our Heavenly Father.
